COPPERAS COVE (September 10, 2012)—A man named in an out of state warrant who also is a suspect in several local burglaries was arrested over the weekend in Copperas Cove.
Killeen Police have identified Juzang as a suspect in several burglaries, including one at the Planet X Liquor Store on the Stan Schlueter Loop, in which stores were broken into, and cigarettes and liquor were stolen. Police say those burglaries were caught on surveillance video.
Carlos Demertrius Juzang, 30, is held in the Coryell County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $100,000.
Juzang was arrested Friday afternoon after he was located by local police officers and members of the U.S. Marshal’s fugitive task force.
A U.S. Marshal’s Service spokesman said Juzang was wanted on a fugitive warrant issued in Alabama in connection with a robbery.
The marshal’s spokesman said task force members learned Juzang had been spotted at a home on Walt Morgan Circle.
Juzang, according to the Bell County Organized Crime Unit, also is a suspect in several area burglaries.
