Early Morning Shooting Leaves One Man Injured, No Arrest

KILLEEN (September 11, 2012)—A man who told police he was shot early Tuesday morning while walking along a city street was being treated at a local hospital.

Killeen police were looking for a suspect Tuesday morning as well.

The man reported a little after 2 a.m. Tuesday he was walking near Veteran’s Memorial Boulevard and North 8th Street when another man walked by and shot him.

The victim was able to walk a short distance down the street before he called for help.

Police said the victim was not able to provide a description of the man he said shot him.
