Teen Arrested For Theft From Former Employer Save Email Print

A | A | A

(March 25, 2008)-- Pierre Andre Keupp Jr., 17, of Killeen, was awaiting transfer to the Bell County Jail Tuesday after he was arrested on a warrant charging theft over $1,500 in the disappearance of the day’s receipts from the pizza restaurant where he used to work.

The warrant stems from the Dec. 2, 2007 theft of more than $1,500 from the Pizza Hut at 1215 S. Fort Hood St. in Killeen.

Police said Keupp turned up at the Pizza Hut while an employee was counting the day’s receipts and said he was there to give another worker a ride.

The employee who was counting the money was called to the back of the restaurant and when he returned he discovered that Keupp and the money were both gone, police said.

Keupp’s bond was set at $20,000.

Manager's fault? Please...careless sure! The gist of what some of you are saying is that if you leave your house and forget to lock the door or leave a window open and i go in and and wipe you out, its YOUR fault because you were careless! I like that reasoning as im sure many of you have worked real hard for your money and/or possessions and probably have real nice stuff! According to your reasoning, I should be able to just take it, right? This thug is a thief plain and simple! He committed a crime against people that probably trusted him since they worked with him. This reminds me of the big ol' formula theft at the heb in cove by a former employee whose husband was still a manager at another heb at the time! She got away with it because everyone knew and trusted her! Heard she made thousands reselling that formula on ebay!

So we are supposed to expect people to be trash like this kid is? I really don't think it's fair to blame the manager because this boy is a theif and wasn't raised right. What a stupid thought, bred from the stupidity he grew up around considerating the comments on here from his family or friends (ie: Wifey and Markeshia). Btw do you even know what a school is maybe if he spent a little more time there he wouldn't be about to go to jail? Learn how to speak, and not pass your ignorance to those around you, we don't need anymore Pierre's Thankyou! HA

Blame the manager! How stupid is this ? Yes a mistake was made by leaving the money unattended but the "thief" took something that did not belong to him.Had he not stolen the money he would not be facing criminal charges. Goes to prove the old saying "two wrongs don't make a right"

Pretty scary because not too long ago his family member was also prosecuted for theft at the killeen mall for stealing a a co-workers credit card and using it. nevertheless, I place blame on the person who left the money unattended as well

Posted by: Former worker Location: waco on Mar 26, 2008 at 03:51 AM
well it doesn't say if after hrs.but if it was no one but the ppl working on the clock are to be in the the store after close.so the manger is at fault also.

Well i think the manager or whoever was counting the money and left it unattended should be responsible
