KILLEEN (September 18, 2012)—Killeen police shut down an intersection Tuesday morning after a man called in a bomb threat that targeted a HOP bus.

Traffic along Twin Creek Drive near Roy J. Smith Road was being diverted while police and firefighters inspected a HOP bus.

Police K-9 units were at the scene and all the passengers had been taken off the bus while officers searched the area.

Police said a man called the HOP bus dispatch office just before 7 a.m. and said there was a bomb aboard the Route 2 bus.
