Former football star O.J. Simpson has been ordered to pay $25,000 in damages for stealing satellite TV signals from Direc TV, but Simpson’s attorney is crying foul.

Simpson was also ordered to pay attorneys’ fees and other costs related to the case.

When Simpson's home was raided five years ago, the feds turned up illegal devices that authorities say were used to steal TV programming, but Simpson's attorney says it's wrong that the judge ruled on the case himself instead of submitting it to a jury.

Simpson has a 50-50 record with trial juries so far.

He was acquitted in 1995 in the murders of his ex-wife and her friend, but a civil jury found him liable for the deaths and ordered him to pay more than $33 million dollars in judgments, most of which remains unpaid.
