The first annual Waco Jaycees Music Fest and Chili Throwdown starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heart O’ Texas Fairgrounds.
Proceeds from the event will go to support the Jaycees’ scholarship fund at McLennan Community College and to Habitat for Humanity.

Performers include Aaron Watson, Doug Moreland, Ashlee Rose, Double Deuce, Robby Abel, Pat Carruth, Rusty Road, the Shane Howard Band, Lange Debault, the Nick Turk Band and Kimberly Kelly.

The chili cook-off entry fee is $18 for Chili Appreciation Society International Members and $23 for non-members. The fee includes the entertainment.

Tickets are $15 on the day of the event.
