MILAM COUNTY (October 29, 2012)—An Oklahoma man died early Sunday morning when his pick up truck ran off the road just north of Rockdale and overturned.

Milam County Justice of the Peace Andy Isaacs pronounced Travis Dera Darling, 22, of Morrison, OK, dead at the scene just before 2 a.m.

Department of Public Safety Trooper Don Delukie, of Cameron, said at about 12:55 a.m. Sunday Darling was driving a 2000 Toyota pick up truck in a southeast direction along FM 487 when he lost control, left the roadway, skidded sideways and eventually overturned.

Delukie said Darling was not wearing a seat belt.
