(April l7, 2008)—A suicide bomber targeted mourners at a funeral Thursday in Iraq, killing at least 50.
Dozens of others were wounded in the attack during the funeral for an anti-al-Qaeda tribesman.
A witness says the bomber was dressed in traditional Arab robes.
Guards allowed him inside a tent of mourners without a search.
The bombing comes on the heels of suicide attacks earlier this week that killed 60 people in four major Iraqi cities.
Also Thursday, gunmen in Baghdad killed two members of an Awakening Council and wounded a third and two mortar shells landed in Baghdad's Green Zone.
There were no reports of casualties.
