WACO (November 16, 2012)—One man was injured early Friday morning when the vehicle he was driving crashed and overturned on Waco drive.

Police said a driver was westbound just after 3:30 a.m. on Waco Drive at New Road when he lost control of his car, hit a support wire on a utility pole and overturned.

The driver, who was not seriously injured, told officers at the scene he didn’t know what happened.

He was treated at the scene by EMS personnel but was not taken to a hospital.

Police found a plastic baggie of what they believe was marijuana lying on the roadway but said they could not confirm that it belonged to the driver.

The driver was alone in his car.
