WACO (July 18, 2011)--Bosque Boulevard between North 3rd and North 4th Streets was closed Monday at midday after a large truck snagged a cable television line and pulled down a power line.

Emergency crews were at the scene at around 1 p.m. Monday.

Police say the truck snagged the overhead line and dragged it for some distance.

The downed lines left homes and businesses in the area without cable and electric service.

Phone outages were also reported.

Crews were working to restore power.

No one was injured.
