(April 22, 2008)—Some residents of Phoenix are reporting strange lights in the night sky.

Callers Monday night reported that they saw four or five red-colored lights in the sky north of the city.

The residents reported the lights appeared in a straight line, and also formed a square and then a triangle.

They were visible for about 15 minutes before heading to the east and disappearing.

Officials at two local airports also saw the lights, but had no explanation for them and the Air Force says the lights weren't part of any military activities.

Earlier this year in Texas, about 200 Stephenville-area residents said they saw what may have been UFOs in the sky over the community in late December and early January and several dozen people including a pilot, county constable and business owners insisted they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast.

Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

The sightings attracted international attention.

ooooo weeewwweee uuuuuu! :-) I have never seen an UFO but I do think there is something to the stories. My fifth grade English teacher was the strictest, most "no-nonsense" teacher I ever had and she told me one time that when she was in her 20's, she and her husband saw something strange hovering at old country road intersection. I will never forget the look on her face as she was talking, she certainly saw something that night and 30 years after the fact it still haunted her.

These were not UFOs .... they were UFO BHs.... Unidentified Flares On Helium Balloons!! A guy already came out on the media saying he did it.... even showed the flares he used and said the planes overhead made them move. LOL

I like the idea of ufo's and beings from outer space. That gives us hope that there is another planet out there somewhere that we can destroy when we are done with this one! lol

Do you know what "sky lanterns" are? That's what the video looked like. Check them out on the web.

Anonymous you hit the nail on the head! Thank you.....UFO (unidentified flying object) That, TAYLOR, does NOT mean there are little 'green' men lurking around...it is UNIDENTIFIED! Don't tell me that you have never seen something, lights or otherwise, that you could not explain! Or maybe you just stay inside ALL the time for fear you might acually see what others are talking about!

Maybe if we all close our eyes and chant, "We REALLY, REALLY believe in UFO's!", they will actually appear and carry Rick Perry and the rest of his communist supporters of the Trans Texas Corridor into space forever!!! If any of you space aliens are reading this, Governor Rick Perry is your enemy! Please, take him!

Well Taylor, guess again, I am almost 60 years old, and I DO believe in UFO's. Maybe I am still a kid after all. .

well, ok then taylor. how do you expect to tell this to the thousands of people who have seen an ufo. and remember that a ufo does not actually mean that it is a ship from outerspace, it just means it is an unidentified flying object, one that has not been seen by that person before. i saw a ufo when i was in my early teens. it was low flying, slow moving, and black, to me, it was a ufo back then, but i have sense decided it was a stealth bomber, being that the stealth was very secretive back then. so yes, if have to say i have seen a ufo in my early teens.

Taylor, you obviously need to do more research into the UFO phenomenom. They have been repeatedly spotted in the good ole USA for generations. Unexplained events happen all around us every day....just live with the fact that no one will ever be able to say 100% that they exist or don't exist....after all imagination is the fuel for creation....

Taylor, there is no proof that says there is or isn't UFO's and also its not just something kids believe in. No one knows if there are other life forms out there or not. Its one of those subjects that could go either way, but in my oppinion I think there is the possiblity. You have a right to your oppinion and only yours, so please don't include in your oppinion that everyone knows that only kids belive in that sort of thing.

Those who are so certain about what they don't know generally get hit in the head from something that comes at them from behind their blinders. Whether this is a real phenomenon or not, it does nothing to further understanding having such a closed mind.

there is no such thing as ufo's everyone knows that only kids belive in that sort of thing i have studied the ufo spotting and there has never been a actual ufo spotted in the united states of america

Interessting happenings in Stephenville few months ago - and now actual in Phoenix! Shure but nothing new for Germany in which the german UFO-Center CENAP has get since 9 months 600 (!) reports of such UFO-sightings. We call this UFOs which are exactly the same we are reported from the US the "Weekend-UFOs". But the UFOs - from the distance seen with a 'Close Encounter...'-effect - have a very special "secret ufo technology" which I will now disclosure for you in videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbK7IrrYffI - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCB7dZJJtW4 . Thats the whole mystery behind this kind of UFO-sightings.., Best form Germany Werner Walter, http://www.cenap.de/cenapnews
