WACO (December 18, 2012)—Firefighters were investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a East Waco home early Tuesday morning.

Units were sent just before 1 a.m. to an address on Hubert Street, just north of East Waco Drive, where the first firefighters on the scene reported flames and smoke coming from the single-story, wood frame structure.

The fire was contained to the back of the vacant house.

No one was injured and the home suffered only minor damage.
