HEWITT (December 24, 2012—A Hewitt man was being held Monday in the McLennan County Jail after his arrest in connection with an aggravated robbery.

Jordon Andrew Burns, 21, was listed on the jail log as ordered held on a $20,000 bond on a charge of aggravated robbery.

Hewitt police Deputy Chief Tuck Saunders said Monday Burns was arrested at about 4 a.m. at a residence in Hewitt after he was named in a warrant on the robbery charge.

Saunders said at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday a man was sitting in a vehicle at 1001 Enterprise when he was approached by a female juvenile.

The girl's mother later told News 10 her daughter was acquainted with the man in the car.

Saunders said the juvenile reported the man grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from her and drove off while dragging the girl a short distance.

The victim sustained minor injuries, Saunders said.
