By: Paul J. Gately Email

COPPERAS COVE (December 26, 2012)—The Copperas Cove police department is asking for the public help in locating a man they believe was involved in a robbery Wednesday morning.

Copperas Cove police Sgt. Julie Lehmann said officers were sent at about 2:40 a.m. Wednesday morning to a convenience store in the 2000 block of W. Ave. B after a clerk at the store reported a robbery.

The clerk told officers a light-skinned man, who either was black or Hispanic, came into the store and demanded money.

The clerk said the robber threatened employees with a weapon.

The robbery was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and he escaped on foot.

Lehmann said no one was injured in the robbery.
