KILLEEN (December 26, 2012)—A Fort Hood soldier was being held Wednesday in the Bell County Jail after his arrest on a warrant charging indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Jason William Ausburn was ordered on bonds totaling $100,000, according to the Bell County Jail Log.
Killeen police said a 12-year-old girl made an outcry to school district officials, who then reported the incident to police.
Killeen police initiated their own investigation and obtained a warrant for arrest.
Ashburn learned that he had an outstanding warrant and turned himself in to authorities on Monday.
