(May 2, 2008)--A Texas truck driver was killed on Interstate 20 in Bossier Parish when his truck had a blowout, careered across the interstate and hit a car before overturning and bursting into flames.
State police say rescue workers could not free the trucker from the wreckage before he burned alive.
One of the people in the car later died at a local hospital.
Killed were the 58-year-old truck driver, Enrique Quinones of El Paso and the 39-year-old driver of the car, Billy Woodall of Haughton, La.
The accident happened Thursday one mile east of the Bossier City, La.
Troopers say a passenger in Woodall's car suffered moderate injuries.
