By: Kyle Muscarello Email

MCLENNAN COUNTY (December 27, 2012)—Four people were injured Thursday morning when an SUV and a delivery truck collided just north of Speegleville on State Highway 6.

Department of Public Safety Trooper D.L. Wilson said four people were taken by ambulance to Waco hospitals after they suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Wilson said at about 9 a.m. a Dodge Durango SUV that was southbound on State Highway 6 collided with a vendor’s delivery truck that was eastbound on Farm-to-Market Road 185.

The collision left the intersection blocked while crews worked to clear debris.

Officers were diverting traffic on both roadways onto the shoulder to get past the wreck.

Wilson said no citations had been issued and the cause of the accident remained under investigation.
