LACY LAKEVIEW (December 27, 2012)—Lacy Lakeview police were searching for a suspect after a guest at the Fairfield Inn, on Interstate 35, was held up at gunpoint just after noon Thursday.

Lacy Lakeview police Chief John Truehitt said officers were sent at about 12:20 p.m. to the hotel at 4257 North Interstate 35 after a caller reported a man with a gun had robbed a guest at the hotel.

Truehitt said initial reports from the scene indicated the gunmen were black men armed with handguns who then escaped the scene in a maroon Chevrolet Cavalier.

Truehitt said officers were combing the scene looking for more evidence.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
