WACO (December 27, 2012)—The second of three teenagers who were inmates at a Mart youth detention facility pleaded guilty Thursday to escape.

District Judge Matt Johnson sentenced Larry Jefferson Burge, 18, to serve four years in state prison.

Burge is the second of three youths who prosecutors say escaped the Mart Texas Juvenile Justice Facility last July.

Ladarious Brown, 18, was sentenced to the same four year term when he pleaded guilty on November 19.

Stuart Douglas Candis, 18, the third defendant, is scheduled for a hearing on his case on February.

A TJJD guard who was implicated in the escape was no billed by a McLennan County Grand Jury in September after the panel found she had no responsibility in the escapes.
