ROBINSON (December 31, 2012)—One man was injured Monday morning after he was thrown from an SUV when it crashed and overturned off Loop 340 in Robinson.
A Department of Public Safety trooper who was leaving Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center after checking on a victim from an earlier accident drove up on the wreck and called for assistance.
The driver of the SUV was eastbound on Loop 340 just past Interstate 35 when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and over turned.
Police at the scene said the man was thrown from the SUV as it rolled.
The man was taken by ambulance to Hillcrest with possible broken legs and other injuries, a DPS dispatcher said.
