KILLEEN (December 31, 2012)—Killeen police were looking for a man they believe held up a local Family Dollar store Monday morning.

Officers were sent at about 8:15 a.m. to the store located in the 1600 block of S. Fort Hood Street, after a clerk at the store reported a man with a gun had held up a cashier.

The gunman told the cashier to hand over all of her money, then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

The suspect was described as a black man, 5-foot, 7-inches tall and heavy-set, wearing dark-colored clothing.
