(May 8, 2008)--President Bush stuck out his right elbow, Thursday jokingly demonstrating how he'll escort his daughter down the aisle at her wedding Saturday.

Mr. Bush made the gesture at Andrews Air Force Base before boarding Air Force One for the flight to Central Texas.

Mr. Bush was at his ranch near Crawford Thursday afternoon.

Twenty-six-year-old Jenna Bush will be married Saturday before about 200 invited guests at the family's 1,600-acre ranch near Crawford.

When asked Thursday if he was excited, the president smiled and gave a thumbs-up.

First Lady Laura Bush is already at the ranch getting ready for the wedding.

Jenna Bush ties the knot in an outdoor ceremony Saturday evening with longtime boyfriend Henry Hager, who turns 30 on Friday.

The White House says the wedding will be a closed affair, but the family might agree to release a photo or two of the wedding on Sunday.

I wonder how much it has cost us tax payers for security and flights for this wedding? Just imagine what it costs to operate air force 1 per minute?? We could all have one hell of a wedding for just what it costs to fly Bush back and forth one time..

I agree with Rachel from Temple she is completely right. Alcohlic Jenna Bush and former cheerleader father George Bush can leave Texas. I mean it not like he has even done anything for the Lone Star State. Except make gas prices way too high.

Why is this a story? I myself got married couple of months ago but I didn't see it on any of the news channels. What the hey? Seriously. But then again, my dads not the worst president weve ever had either.

Who gives a flying flip about Jenna Bush getting married or anything else to do with the Bush family. I wish they would leave Texas and take everything associated with them - Daddy Bush, the Ranch, the whole mess. I am so freakin' sick of Bushes!!!!

Hey could he do something about the gas prices after Jenna gets married, they are making it so hard for single parents to work as well as the married couples. Congrats Jenna!

Best wishes and all the best to the happy couple. God Bless both of their families.
