Head-On Collision Leaves Three Dead Save Email Print

(May 9, 208)--A head-on collision in Palo Pinto County has killed a man, a woman and her 9-year-old daughter.

The accident happened Thursday night on FM 4 near Lipan.

The Department of Public Safety says 51-year-old Robert Hudson was driving north in a Chevy Trailblazer.

He was navigating a left curve when the vehicle went off the road, the DPS said.

Hudson then overcorrected and his vehicle veered into the southbound lane where it struck a minivan that was heading south.

Lezlee Stone, 43, of Lipan, and her daughter Jaci Stone were in the minivan.

Both died from injuries received in the collision.

Hudson, of Goldsmith, was also killed.

Families suffer even if it's not a fatality, having a loved one in the hospital for two years is difficult too. Have you noticed the concrete blocks on I35 the past few years? They stop south bound and north bound traffic from crashing at high speeds. Perhaps we can all slow down.

My father was killed in an accident by someone not paying attention. People should be paying much more attention to their driving in the busy, hurry up and go world. People have way too much on their minds and are too much in a hurry these days. We all should remind ourselves of that and be more conscious of this when we get into a vehicle. My heart goes out to both families, but especially to the innocent ones.
