(May 9, 2008)—Rayshawn Cook, 30, of Killeen, was in the Bell County Jail Friday, charged with burglary of a habitation in connection with an apartment burglary earlier this month.
The break-in was reported on May 1 at 1017 Parmer in Killeen.
The residents told police that the burglar had gotten in through a window and had stolen several items.
Officers found a chair under the window outside of the apartment that had a shoeprint on it.
After Cook’s arrest, police recovered the stolen items, police said.
