Movie Crew Films In Central Texas Save Email Print

(May 10, 2008)—Cars and costumes from the 1950s were in evidence in Waco as a crew shot scenes for Sean Penn’s and Brad Pitt’s new movie, “Tree of Life.”

The crew was filming in a residential neighborhood Friday on Austin Avenue.

Terrence Malick wrote and is directing the drama that centers around three boys in the 1950s.

Filming started February in Texas.

this is pretty neat. i've always loved to look at the old houses over there. it's nice to know we will have something else to be known for other than the Branch Davidians...
