Woman Missing From Local Shelter Found

WACO (February 4, 2013)—A woman who was reported missing from a local homeless shelter has been found, police said Monday.

Susan Steinkamp, 57, was last seen Jan. 24 at the Meyers Center at 1226 Washington Ave.

Steinkamp had been staying at homeless shelters in the area and did not indicate to anyone she was leaving the area, but she turned up in North Texas where police found her at a shelter in Dallas, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.Monday.
