(May 14, 2008)—A Texas man was arrested in southeastern Oklahoma in connection with an attempt to sell a 25-gallon drum of deadly cyanide to an FBI informant.

Court documents show Jeffrey Don Detrixhe of Higgins was arrested Monday afternoon in the Holly Creek area north of Idabel, Okla. on a complaint charging possession or transfer of a chemical weapon.

His first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.

An affidavit filed by FBI Special Agent John Whitworth says agents taped conversations in which Detrixhe told an informant he had enough cyanide to "kill a city."

He allegedly offered to sell it for $10,000, a thermal imager and a fully automatic Russian-made AK-47 assault rifle.

FBI spokesman Mark White in Dallas says some cyanide was found at Detrixhe's home but he wouldn't say how much.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention describes cyanide as a "rapidly acting, potentially deadly chemical" which prevents the body from processing oxygen.

It is also used in manufacturing, metallurgy and for pest extermination.

I say send him down to GITMO for some good ole fashion WATERBOARDING maybe that will get his attention. He could hang out with all his TERRORIST buddies down there and catch up on things.

Well maybe they need to start using cyanide at the border, or even bring back the gas chamber in jail!
