(May 15, 2008)—Two burned out cars and a pile of rubble are all that are left following an early morning fire in Temple, Thursday.
Temple Firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire in the 4600 block of South Pea Ridge Road after a watchful neighbor alerted authorities around 1am.
When the first crew arrived on scene, they reported heavy smoke and flames were visible from a large workshop or storage shed behind the main residence
A total of four engines, an aerial apparatus and an administrative chief were called to the scene. The flames were under control within half an hour, but crews remained on the scene until nearly four hours putting out hot spots.
