(May 18, 2008)- A Texas high school rewarded its prom queen with more than just costume jewelry.
The Southlake High School prom queen will get a handcrafted sterling silver tiara studded with freshwater rose pearls and Swarovski crystals.
The queen was awarded the tiara, worth $695, Saturday night at the celebration.
She will keep the tiara as apart of an exclusive agreement with New York-based jewelry company Bailey Banks & Biddle.
The Fort Worth suburb is known for its rich neighborhoods, which are home to some Dallas-area professional athletes.
