Man In Custody After Elderly Central Texas Women Held Hostage Save Email Print

(May 19, 2008)—William Payne, 26, was in the McLennan County Jail Monday after two elderly Hewitt women were held hostage in their home for several hours overnight.

Police responded to a call around 10 p.m. Sunday that a man was harassing the two elderly women at a residence at 133 Oklahoma in Hewitt.

When officers arrived, however, the man barricaded himself inside the home with the two residents as hostages, police said.

Hewitt police requested assistance from the Woodway Police Department’s SWAT Team, which is made up of officers from Woodway, Robinson and Hewitt.

The standoff ended around 1 a.m. Monday without incident and the woman were freed unharmed.

I know him and he was 26 16 years ago. He's been in and out of jail all that time. What makes a criminal habitual? In more than out.

I know dang well this man is not 26, if so he needs to stay off whatever he is taking. I know he doesn't get id'd when he goes for a drink! They probably haven't id'd him since he turned 11.

I dont believe he would do something like that, judging by his Serial Killer Face. lol. Certain people can just be arrested by how they look lol

looks can be deceiving, but in my opinion the guy in that pic looks closer to 46 than 26.... im just sayin'..
