(May 19, 2008)--Most of the 300 reported sightings in Central Texas dairy country earlier this year were probably planets, cloud formations or stars, but Kenneth Cherry with the Mutual UFO Network says some cases still remain a mystery.

His group examined the January and February sightings in Stephenville and Dublin.

Many Erath County residents are unfazed by the group's logical explanations for many sightings.

"We all know what we saw,” said pilot and freight company owner Steve Allen.

Although some details differed, many residents reported seeing a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast.

Air Force Reserve officials in Fort Worth initially said none of their planes was in the area, but military authorities later said they were mistaken and that ten F-16 fighter jets were training in the
Stephenville area.

I started to get interested in learning more about these UFO sightings even though I'm only in high school, but from what I have heard, everytime a UFO is sighted around an airplane there is usually clouds so how can we be completely sure that UFOs really exist. People tell me I must be insane to be interested in something like this but it's interesting how lately a lot of people have reported UFO sightings. Please feel free to e-mail me about this, I'll tell you anything you want to know that I have found out lately about UFOs.

I have seen something in the sky quit a few times, They looked like stars in the shape of a triangel going across the sky slowly, and I have seen a green light run across the sky real fast after words. I'm not sure what it was but I think it might have been related to a UFO, a few weeks later more sightings had come up.

I am not meaning this in a bad way or putting anyone down, but right when you enter Stephenville it says "Meth Crime Watch" so a lot of people are not believing what they saw due to this....
