(May 26, 2008)--The Colorado State Patrol has released the name of a Texas driver killed in a head-on crash outside Eads in southeastern Colorado.

Troopers say 24-year-old Sharath K. Chandragiri of Arlington was driving a car that was trying to pass a tractor-trailer rig Friday on Colorado 287 when the car struck an oncoming minivan.

Two of his passengers, Samarth Sampige, 24, and Pourna C. Narayana-Reddy, 24, were in critical condition Sunday.

The crash also killed 75-year-old Jack Dewey and 65-year-old Shirley Dewey of Englewood and seriously injured 87-year-old Rosalee Malaby of Glenwood Springs.

The Deweys and Malaby were in the minivan.
