(May 28, 2008)—Two teenage brothers and their teenage cousin were arrested Wednesday after an argument over a girl turned violent.

It happened in the 500 block of Live Oak Street in Marlin.

Police said the three boys, ages 16 and 17, got into a fight

Two adults and a teenager were facing aggravated assault charges after the brawl.

Their names were not released.

Marlin Assistant Police Chief Darrell Allen said the department is enforcing a zero tolerance policy on juvenile crime, meaning that violators will be arrested rather than cited or warned.

“Enough is enough,” Allen said.

What do you except from Marlin people? All they know is to fight, use drugs, etc.

I live in Marlin and I am glad the police are finally doing something about these juveniles running around all day and all night. Thanks to the Police Department for doing something about this major problem here.

Congrats to Marlin PD,,,its a shame other cities don't follow suit. Every time one of the little angles get into trouble some judge slaps there wrist and says "now be good". All that shows them is they can get away with whatever they want to...LOCK'EM UP.....

I am so glad that the City of Marlin is taking the step to not tolerate any juvenile crime. If more cities will allow -0- tolerance and take action some of this bullies will take serious law enforcement.
