(June 4, 2008)--Country star George Jones is getting back a guitar stolen from him 46 years ago, thanks to a Texan who bought it unwittingly.

Larry Berry of Chandler says he bought the acoustic Martin guitar for $10 from two boys in his Fort Worth apartment complex in 1962.

Berry said Wednesday he's been trying to contact Jones for years to return it and finally reached the singer this year.

Jones’ spokeswoman Susan Nadler says the singer is stunned and happy to be getting the guitar back.

Berry will present it to him June 14 in Bossier City, La.
