Food for Families is asking individuals to bring enough non-perishable food to feed a family of four for a week, to the site nearest you.

The food banks always seem to need canned meat, tuna, vegetables, macaroni, spaghetti, pinto beans, corn, green beans, applesauce, tomato sauce, peanut butter, vegetable soup, chicken soup, cereal and Jello.

Food for Families is a loose-knit coalition of food pantries working together to feed the hungry people of Central Texas.
