WACO (April 13, 2013)—A multiple-vehicle accident Saturday morning on Interstate 35 near Waco Drive also involved an ambulance.
The accident was reported at about 10:20 a.m. when the ambulance crew notified their dispatcher they were involved in the wreck.
It was not immediately known if the ambulance crew was on a call when the accident happened.
Waco police at the scene said the wreck involved seven vehicles.
There were minor injuries involved but no one was taken to a hospital.
Only scant detail was known early on but it was known that traffic was moving extremely slowly around the scene, which was northbound at the 338 exit.
Waco police were diverting northbound traffic on the interstate as far south as the Forrest Street exit.
