WACO (April 15, 2013)—Two adults and a child were taken by ambulance from the scene of an early Monday morning traffic accident in East Waco.
Police said two of the people hurt suffered significant injuries and the third only minor injuries.
Officers at the scene said at about 5:45 a.m., a Lincoln and a Dodge pick up truck collided at the intersection of East Waco Drive and Clifton Street.
The driver of the pick up truck suffered only minor injuries and was not taken to a hospital.
The cause of the accident was under investigation, police said.
Traffic had to be diverted for a short time around the accident site but was flowing normally by 6:45 a.m.
