(June 19, 2008)—Customers of the Coryell City Water District were under a boil order Thursday because of low water pressure.

The district serves residents in the Mound area, Oglesby, Riddle, Crawford and Coryell City.

The district buys water from the City of Gatesville and lost pressure over the weekend because of what it described as mechanical issues.

The boil order affects about 1,200 customers, the district said.

The boil order is expected to remain in effect until early next week until the problem is fixed.

We are serviced by Coryell City WSD and didn't know a thing about the boil order until Saturday night. I guess since we aren't dead yet the water is okay to drink. Would have been nice to know about the boil order though.

That's just great; at least the water isn't brown though, like it has been in the past. Yet.
