(June 25, 2008)—American divers have joined the search for bodies and possible survivors at the capsized ferry in the Philippines.
Officials are unwilling to give up hope of finding more survivors among the more than 800 people missing since the seven-story ferry listed and went down in a half-hour or less
Saturday.
A Philippine coast guard officer says there's "a slim chance" of finding survivors inside the vessel. Only four-dozen survivors have been found so far.
