The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the 27th named Atlantic storm of 2005 has regained tropical storm strength.
Zeta could break the record for a storm lasting the longest into January.
Zeta first became a tropical storm on Dec. 30, but dropped to a depression early Thursday morning.
Forecasters say it has juiced up again.
A hurricane specialist says Zeta will likely lose power soon.
It has 40 mile-per-hour winds and is blowing in the middle of the Atlantic.
It poses no threat to land.
