SALADO (July 17, 2013)—Traffic in both directions on Interstate 35 near Salado was snarled Wednesday morning as crews cleaned up after an 18-wheeler wreck.
At about 7 a.m. the driver of a northbound 18-wheeler lost control of the rig, which crashed into a concrete barrier along the median, pushing it into the southbound lanes of traffic.
No injuries were reported, but the truck blocked at least one northbound lane and the concrete barrier came to rest in the inside southbound lane, so traffic in both directions was interrupted by the wreckage.
Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Department of Transportation units removed both the crashed truck and the concrete barrier.
All lanes of the highway were reopened to traffic by around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
