(June 26, 2008)—An arrest warrant charging aggravated sexual assault of a child has been issued for former Little River-Academy-area Little League coach William Thomas Jacobsen, 31, in connection with an incident involving one of the players on his former team, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office said late Thursday morning.

Jacobsen, who was also a member of the Little River-Academy Volunteer Fire Department, lives in Rogers, but authorities think he and his wife fled on June 21 and that they may be in the Houston-Galveston area,

The warrant stems from an investigation that started on June 10 when deputies were sent to Scott & White Hospital in response to a report that a youth baseball coach had sexually assaulted a 13-year-old boy.

The boy told investigators the sexual assaults started about a year ago and said the latest occurred in early June.

Investigators have since located at least one other victim, the Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

Jacobsen was relieved of is coaching duties after deputies advised the Little River-Academy Youth Baseball League about the investigation.

He was also relieved of his duties as a volunteer firefighter, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Bell County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the investigation or about Jacobsen’s whereabouts to call (254) 933-5435.

I have a question! When it came to the selection of the jury why did they select only whites and hispanics? no blacks were selected at all. But there have been many cases where there has been a all white jury against a black man. But thats our Justice System for you. BIAS!! But regardless I hope he rots in prison

i believe in an 'eye for an eye'. so if he is gonna do this to a child, they need to put him in a room with 'bubba' and let justice prevail. anyone who harms a child should have the same thing done back to them so they can feel for themselves exactly what they are doing to these babies.

I have talked to this guy several times and he even tried to make friends with my son, but he made the hair on the back of my neck stand up so my son was not allowed anywhere around him. I have found out that there is an e-mail that is going around with some more facts about him & wife. If you get it pass it on. Reguardless of what anyone thinks now the priority should be to help the police find him so that he can't do it to another child & pay for what he has done. The fastest & best way will be for someone who see's him to turn him in. The more his story & picture get out there the more of a chance he will be seen and then caught. When he is caught maybe the other children that he has done this to will come forward. And I'm sure there are more. Noone just wakes up at 30 yrs old and says "ok, I think I like young boys now." The internet can be a wonderful tool. Lets get together and help catch him.
