KILLEEN (September 24, 2013)—Killeen police arrested a motorcycle rider late Wednesday night after he led officers on a high-speed chase on city streets.
Officers began chasing the motorcycle rider just before 11:30 p.m. Monday and within several minutes had him stopped near a gated community in North Killeen.
Officers were able to stop the motorcyclist in the 700 block of N. 46th St.
The cyclist jumped from his bike and ran into the housing area but police were soon able to catch up to him and arrest him.
The man, who was not identified, was taken to the Killeen City Jail for processing.
