A Killeen motorcycle patrol officer was injured Monday in a collision with a truck on Highway 195.
Officer Dallas Jennings was taken to Darnall Army Community Hospital where he was listed in stable condition late Monday afternoon.
He suffered a broken leg and wrist, police said.
The dump truck, which was towing a trailer, was traveling in the same direction as the officer at the time of the collision, police said.
The force of the collision knocked the motorcycle to the ground, police said.
Jennings was thrown from the bike, which slid about 200 feet on its side, police said.
