Gunman Fires Into Street Party Crowd Killing Four
Police say witnesses are not cooperating in the investigation of a shooting during a street party early Friday that left four people dead.

(July 4, 2008)—Milwaukee police say witnesses aren’t cooperating in the investigation of a shooting during a street party that left four people dead.
Police say at least one gunman fired into a crowd of about 100 people.
Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz says two women, ages 23 and 27, and two men, ages 24 and 28, were killed in the street at about 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Two people suffered injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
Schwartz said no suspects are in custody and police are having difficulty getting cooperation from witnesses.
Police initially said the shooting was outside a house party.
