BELTON (December 3, 2013) Bell County Jail records show additional charges have been filed against a Rogers man who was involved in a Sunday evening car crash in Belton that left a Salado woman dead.
Michael Alexander Soto, 24, of Rogers, was ordered held on a $2,500 bond charged with driving with an invalid license but he now faces additional charges of assault causing serious bodily injury family member and intoxication manslaughter.
Bonds on the new charges had not been set Tuesday morning, Bell County online jail records showed.
After the accident, Brianne Nicole Pratt, 20, of Salado, was taken by ambulance to Scott & White Hospital where she later died, a news release Monday from the Belton Police Department said.
The three-vehicle accident happened at around 6:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of FM 1670 after a southbound Dodge pickup truck crossed the centerline and struck the northbound Dodge Stratus that Pratt was driving.
The pickup also struck a northbound Mercury Grand Marquis, Belton police investigators said.
No information about the driver of the second car was released Monday.
