Man Attacked Stabbed Outside Local Apartment Complex

WACO (December 5, 2013) A Waco man was stabbed Wednesday night after he was attacked while getting out of his car at a Waco apartment complex.

The 24-year-old victim was approached by two men at about 11 p.m. as he got out of his car in the parking lot at Car-Mel Apartments in the 3600 block of West Waco Drive, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

The two attackers, both wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and ski masks, attacked the victim and when he resisted he was stabbed in the upper right shoulder.

The victim was taken from the scene to Providence Hospital where he was treated for his wounds and later released, Swanton said.

No arrests had been made Thursday morning, Swanton said.
