HARKER HEIGHTS (December 26, 2013) A Harker Heights teenager was held Thursday in the Bell County Jail charged with injury to a child in connection with an incident that left his 11-year-old sister injured.
Shondivo Santos, 17, was ordered held on a $100,000 bond charged with injury to a child/elderly/disabled person with intent to cause serious bodily injury, the online Bell County Jail roster showed.
Harker Heights police Lt. Loretta Fox said officers were sent at about 3:55 Monday to a residence in the 100 block of Bybee Court where they found an 11-yearolld girl suffering injuries after she was struck with a piece of wood.
The girl was taken by ambulance from the scene to Seaton Hospital where she was treated for undisclosed injuries., Fox said.
Santos was arrested at the scene and later booked into the Bell County Jail.
