(July 9, 2008)—U.S. marshals Wednesday arrested a Killeen man wanted in a deadly shooting who was the object of a nationwide manhunt.
The marshals arrested Antwon Harris around 3 p.m. Wednesday in Muskogen, Mich., Killeen police said.
He’s named in a warrant charging aggravated assault in the May 1 shooting death of Frederick John Dimock, Jr., 58, at the A and N Mobile Home Park at 3103 S. Fort Hood Street.
On May 9, police identified Harris as the man shown in a store surveillance photo who had been seen talking with the victim the evening before the murder.
Murder charges are pending.
Killeen Crime Stoppers was offering a reward for information leading to his arrest and indictment.
