(July 1, 2008)—Jerry Don Iley of Salado has claimed the second of six $1 million prizes in the state’s new $50 scratch-off lottery game, $130,000 Platinum Payout, which was rolled out on June 30.

Iley claimed the prize Monday and the Texas lottery announced the prize on Wednesday.

The winning ticket was sold at CC’s Package Store at 163 FM 2483 in Morgan’s Point Resort, which is eligible for a retailer bonus of $10,000.

Halbert F. Graham of El Paso purchased the other winning ticket on Tuesday.

Iley and Graham both requested minimal publicity, the lottery said.

Four $1 million and three $5 million prizes remain to be won, the lottery said.

So much for minimal publicity. I'm sure they both appreciate their full name and area of residence being printed. Congratulations to them both.
